Nickel Iron Nilo 42 Wire

Nilo Alloy 42 wire is a nickel-iron controlled-expansion alloy containing 42% nickel.

Nilo Alloy 42 wire has low expansion till 300°C and it matches the expansion of soft glass. Used in lead-in-wires for electronic applications and for the core of Dumet wire (glass sealing part in lead-in-wires for electric lamps). It is used in glass sealing applications in microelectronic components and vacuum devices.
