Molybdenum Disc

Molybdenum disc/disk is made of pure molybdenum sheet. There are good molybdenum sheet available to be shaped and width-to-length controlled in Xinxing. According to customer's requirement, moly sheet can be processed into discs, foils, etc. Molybdenum disc can stand extreme temperatures and keep its strength and stiffness at high temperatures. Molybdenum disc also has good thermal conductivity and lower thermal expansion. It can provide excellent corrosion resistance that is similar to tungsten sheet. Our molybdenum products are widely used in aviation, aerospace, nuclear high-temperature furnace, glass, ceramic, crystal production, medical, illumination and vacuum sputtering etc. molybdenum disc, suitable for light, electric vacuum device and electric semiconductor device.

Molybdenum disk's surface condition can be showed in different types, including shiny, matte, satin, or as-rolled condition, which is classified according to thickness and width parameters. Meanwhile, from the point of processing, the surface condition is also divided into polished one or non-polished one. According to buyer’s requirement, the surface can be Electrolytic cleaned or Hydrogen-sintered cleaned.

Molybdenum flat products are rolled and annealed to provide the optimum condition for its application. Heat treatment should be considered carefully according to different application.
