1: Pure Nickel Mesh has Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions.

2:Pure Nickel Mesh has Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state.

3: Pure Nickel Mesh is Virtually immune to inter granular attack above 315C, chlorates must be kept to a minimum.

4: In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions, Nickel Mesh shows good resistance, but in oxidising salt solutions severe attack will occur.

5: Pure Nickel Mesh is Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550C.

6: Pure Nickel Mesh has Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de-aerated acid.

Nickel Mesh Manufacture Method: Twilled Dutch Weaving

The process of manufacture of twilled Dutch weave is a combination of twilled weave and Dutch weave. The cross wires stick fast to both the interior and exterior of the net. Each warp wire and each weft wire passes over and under the next two adjacent complementary wires, as in a normal Twill Weave, except the warp wires are larger in diameter than the weft wires. This allows a greater mesh count in the weft direction. This weave pattern enables the weft wires to be woven more densely, and much smaller aperture sizes can be achieved without forsaking cloth thickness.

This has a density twice that of Dutch weave, Being the most minute and firm filtrator for separation. It is possible by the number of weft wires between a distance of 25.4mm.
