Nickel Mesh Twilled Woven:

Nickel Mesh has Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions.Nickel Mesh has Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state.Nickel Mesh is Virtually immune to inter granular attack above 315C, chlorates must be kept to a minimum.In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions, Nickel Mesh shows good resistance, but in oxidising salt solutions severe attack will occur.

Nickel Mesh is Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550C.Nickel Mesh has Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de-aerated acid.

Twilled Woven Nickel Mesh:

Contrary to plain weave, two lines of the main and cross wires are interweaved alternately. Each weft wire passes over two and under two warp wires, and each warp wire passes over and under two weft wires. The wire diameter for both(warp and weft)is mostly the same. It is possible to use a wire thicker then the mesh of twilled weave and, it ha an advantage of vulcanization being small because the angle of refraction of the main and cross wires is big. It is suitable for cases of comparatively high or much load.
