Wire Further Processing
1. Cut to length Wire

We have the most comprehensive and extensive range of straighten and cut to length machines in China. The capability extends from very fine wires to large diameter and flat wires. We have a particular expertise in the straightening and cutting to length of very fine wires. We regularly cut wires from 0.1mm diameter to superb levels of accuracy and straightness ¨C without any compromise to surface finish.

We straighten and cut all material types; from soft nickel to high tensile tungsten and titanium, and from simple steel alloys to precious metals.

Wire up to 0.30mm diameter, and in lengths from 100.0mm to 3.00m (longer available by request) can be cut to length.

Diameters:	0.092" up to 0.500"
Grades:	Nickel, Tungsten, Titanium, Molybdenum, Incoloy, Monel, Inconel, Invar, Fe-Cr-Al alloy, Hastelloy
Finish:	Cold Drawn suitable for plating or painting.
Bar Lengths:	The standard stock length is 12ft. We can supply bar/wire cut to your specified length. Diameters: .080" - .092" length ranges from 3" up to 6ft. .104" - .125" length ranges from 3" up to 12ft. .144" - .500" length ranges from 3" up to 20ft.
Tolerances:	Diameter: Standard is +/- .001" Cut Length: 3" to 39" +/- 1/32" 40" to 84" +/- 1/16" 85" & over +/- 1/8" Tighter tolerances can be held, subject to our review of your requirements.
Packaging:	Lengths of 48" and under are bundled and strapped to skids, or put in corrugated shipping containers. Longer lengths are shipped in 1,000lb bundles, 5 bands per bundle.

2. Flat Wire

We have extensive facilities for producing high quality flat wire to tight tolerances. We have five rolling mills, equipped with edge-rolling and laser gauging, to ensure exact measurements. The standard finish is round edge flat wire, but squared edges can be produced as required.

We can produce flat wire up to 8.00mm wide and 3.00mm thick. Softer materials can be rolled into larger sections.

Depending on requirements, the flat wire can be precision layer wound on spools to ensure a steady.

3. Square and Shaped Wire

The most commonly demanded is square wire, but we also produce half-round, hexagonal wire and elliptical cross-section wire.

Square wire is produced in stainless steel up to 4.0mm square, and larger for non-ferrous materials. Half-round wire is produced up to 5.00mm.

4. Rewinding and spooling

The company has invested in a range of handling equipment so that we can provide the wire in exactly the format required by our customer.

Wire can be supplied in coils of specified dimensions and weights. Additionally, we can supply the wire on spools (high strength thermoplastic bobbins) which are available in a range of standard sizes and weights.

An additional service of us is coil to spool rewinding, spool to spool rewinding, and for fine wire, specialized multi-head precision spooling.

5. Polishing and cleaning

As a direct response to customers¡¯ requirements for special surface finishes, we have equipped a range of surface finish and wire cleaning equipment;

Mechanical polishing ¨C a purpose built line of bristle and pad rotating brushes to remove residues and impart a high polish to the wire.

Vibro-polishing ¨C automatic wire cleaning, polishing, de-burring, drying and collection for short wire lengths or small wire/metal parts.

Vapour degreasing ¨C hot vapour degreasing chamber for cut-to-length and coil wire cleaning.

In-Line Ultrasonic cleaning ¨C a purpose built spool to spool continuous ultrasonic wire cleaner capable of high performance wire cleaning. Removes all traces of wire drawing lubricant and residues.
